Interview with Brian Mazza
Founder of HPLT
What inspired you to start HPLT, and how has your vision for it evolved over time?
After spending many years in the hospitality industry, I found myself feeling unfulfilled. I longed to reconnect with the energy and passion of my D1 soccer days, so I decided to merge my love for events, personal connections, and fitness. My goal was to create a space that combined all of these elements to foster a sustainable community. The vision for HPLT has always been to begin with summits, then expand into investments, a performance club, and a marketing company.
What’s your advice for balancing high performance in work, fitness, and personal life?
I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all formula for achieving perfect balance. Everyone is figuring out their own approach, so in my view, the key is to focus on getting enough sleep, training, and eating to perform optimally across all three areas.
What’s one memorable success story or transformation from an HPLT participant that stands out to you?
There are so many individuals who truly stand out and are special. What I love most is seeing our participants collaborate and support each other on their personal journeys. We have a unique group chat that helps nurture these new friendships, allowing them to last for years. This community is truly remarkable.
