Being Your Authentic Self Always Wins
Staying true to your authentic self will always lead to success, even when fear creeps in. This past weekend, I hosted my very first all- Women’s High Performance experience, and I won’t lie—there were nerves. For the last five years, my brand has followed a specific path, and stepping into new territory felt like a leap. But it was time to push boundaries and elevate what we’ve built. High Performance Experiences was ready to add a new layer to an already thriving business, one that felt uniquely for women.
The fear really kicked in last Monday as we got deep into the logistics of event planning. Though I’m a confident person with a strong belief in my work, even after many failures along the way, the unknown felt daunting. But I realized that letting fear dictate my actions wouldn’t lead to success. In fact, it would only prevent me from staying true to who I am.
This weekend reinforced my belief that authenticity always wins. When you show up as your true self, people connect with you on a deeper level. This weekend was, by far, my favorite experience (and I’ve led 16 summits so far!). I connected with every single person there, but especially two women from my town. Our final dinner was filled with genuine conversation—something that wouldn’t have happened in any other setting. We laughed until we cried, and it was a powerful reminder that we’re all navigating similar struggles.
I’m leaving Miami with my heart full, grateful for a group of incredible people who took time away from their families to show up as their authentic selves in an unfamiliar space.
Thank you for believing in HPLT!
